My Sweet Clementine
I have been eating a lot of these lately, not because I'm preggers but I just like it--it's sour and sweet, juicy and seedless!
A co-worker saw me eating this at work today and she blurted out "so that's what you are craving for, huh!" I wonder how we started associating sour food with pregnancy. Is it really true that most pregnant women crave for something sour? Or is it simply a notion?
I was kind of expecting it for myself--I mean I've always liked sour stuff but I thought this time I was really going to crave for it. But I don't feel that way, and luckily so because it's going to be tough trying to find green mangoes or "sampalok" or "iba" here.

yeah, it's good you don't have cravings for specific foods kay luoy kaayo si charles! basin makalarga sa pilipinas just to buy "iba"! hehehe.
i'm so excited for you, cuz, like you can't believe. :-)
hormones does something to our brains that would want us to eat a specific kind of food when pregnant. some books says it is psychological.
are oranges ang pongkan the same?
nah! unsaon nalang cuz! kung makalarga si charles tungod lang sa akong craving, basin di na ko balikon, hehe..
mai, i think they're all oranges--same family, but different species. the one i got is called clementine, but looks and tastes like ponkan. they're all the same to me :-)
