36 Years...And Counting

He was 26, she was 25.
He was an aspiring businessman, she was a teacher.
He was from the west side of town, she was from the east side of the same town
They were the exact opposites, but destiny somehow found it's way to bring them together.

*** Taken 36 years ago ***

*** At their 25th year anniversary ***

For 36 years they stood by each other, traveled several roads together--enduring adversities and breaking road blocks.

For 36 years they've managed to put aside their differences and worked for a common goal.   They've given up their wants and made our happiness their own.

For 36 years they have been our protector, our shield, our role models, our friends.  They have made us very proud!

It's been 36 years and we're still counting...

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, MA & PA!
May our good Lord bless you with many more wonderful years together!

CHARD--Thanks for leaving a comment here! Ma and Pa are reading this blog and I'm sure they're very happy.

Hello AI--thank you for your well-wishes! Indeed, seeing my parents make me wish my own marriage will last that long.

KETH--sorry to hear that your parents are no longer around, but 35 years together is a long time. They were truly blessed to have been together that long!

By the way, my parents are from Loon, Bohol--just 15 minutes north of Maribojoc.

CINDY--ma and pa are reading this so I'm sure they are happy to see your greetings and wishes! Thank you!

I know I greeted them the night before their anniv, but let me say it again: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, TITA AND TITO!!! You truly are the epitome of what perfect parents should be. There are no better proof of that than your wonderful children.

May you march on to celebrate your golden wedding anniversary!

About This Blog

I got interested in photography when I met my husband. He loved photography since the 80's when he owned a Canon AE1 SLR camera. When we got married, we met a great photographer who inspired me even more. I started taking photos when my husband and I got our DSLR camera back in 2005. I never really shared my photos. But lately, I've been introduced to photoblogging and I saw it to be a great way of expression. My photos are amateur but I hope to learn more as I blog and connect with people.
