I miss...

ALCOHOL.  The smell and taste of wine.  Muscat Canelli.  Merlot.  Baileys on the rocks.  Mojito.  Appletini.  Midori Sour.  Trips to the wine country with dear friends Loraine (who, by the way, gave me a bottle of Baileys for Christmas--what a tease!) and Jim.  Happy Hour on Thursdays after work.

Panglao Island, Bohol   February 2008

BOHOL.  White sand beaches.  My old room.  Our pet Russell.  The sound of tricycles.  Childhood friends.  Island City Mall.  Payag Chicken House.  Siopao from Pasunangka.  Mangoes.  Tamarindo from BQ sidewalk.  Fresh Buko.  Hanging out at Asiatika and Metrocentre Lounge. Trips to Loon.

***

NATHAN.  His sweet baby smell.  His face.  The sound of his cry.  I think about him everyday.  I call everyday hoping to hear whatever sound he can make.  Going to see him next week--can't wait!

And last but not the least...the CAMERA that took all these photos.  Huhuhu...

Liz, what happened to your camera?
I've been to Panglao.. I love it there. I love the people. The hospitality in Bohol is different... much heart felt.

JOPIE: Salamat cuz for your kind remarks--as usual, I am more encouraged to take pictures. Panglao is picture-perfect so photos will always turn out great!

We already got a replacement camera and it's coming very soon. I'm excited!

MAI: I sold my camera but we are getting a new one soon. Yup--one of Panglao's best is its people. They're very humble, they love their little island and they don't cheat on tourists like other people do.

KETH: Thank you! Thank you! Nice to get comments like this from a talented photographer like you.

DEE: Nagbitay na ang face ni Nathan kay sige nako gi-pinch, hehe! This is one of my favorite photos of him. I have one printed and enlarged and ready to send to his dad's family in Ilocos.

About This Blog

I got interested in photography when I met my husband. He loved photography since the 80's when he owned a Canon AE1 SLR camera. When we got married, we met a great photographer who inspired me even more. I started taking photos when my husband and I got our DSLR camera back in 2005. I never really shared my photos. But lately, I've been introduced to photoblogging and I saw it to be a great way of expression. My photos are amateur but I hope to learn more as I blog and connect with people.
