Park Images

San Francisco is so full of beautiful parks, structures and museums, and I just thought I'd share some images taken at a few San Francisco spots during one of our recent strolls around the city.

An old windmill and a new Roman-like structure both at the Golden Gate Park.

Pretty much all the signs at the Japanese Tea Garden are written in this cottage-shaped piece of wood.

I love bamboo!  It reminds me of power and strength.  Would be nice to have this in our backyard.

I really don't know what this is, but it's cute.

They call this Japanese Maple.  I'd love to have this in our backyard too but Charles thinks we have more than enough Maple leaves to clean up during the fall.

They came in pairs.

LOVEBIRDS--I was trying to photograph them with their hands shaped like a picture frame, but it didn't work.  It's either their hands are too small or their faces are too big!  Hehe...

A view of San Francisco from Twin Peaks.  It was dark when we got there.  Reminds me of Tops in Cebu.

Hi Chi, I remember the last time you were here and we asked you where in San Francisco you want to go. Ingon ka Twin Peaks! I really hope you can visit us here one of these days. Kami, murag dili pa maka-byahe soon. Later na tingale kung bigger na si Charles Jr. Hehe...

Hi Dee! Thanks for the compliment! I don't think I am there yet. Timing-timing ra man ni akong mga pictures. But I enjoy practicing. And that's why you have to keep posting too 'coz I look at other bloggers' photos for inspiration.

CUZ: Hala oi, you're too kind! Of course ang mga nindot lang akong gi-post but that's probably only 5% of all the photos I took. The rest of the 95% dili man nindot, hehe. Need MORE practice pa gyud!

I hope you can come visit SF one of these days--maybe we can go around and take pictures together! That'll be FUN!

About This Blog

I got interested in photography when I met my husband. He loved photography since the 80's when he owned a Canon AE1 SLR camera. When we got married, we met a great photographer who inspired me even more. I started taking photos when my husband and I got our DSLR camera back in 2005. I never really shared my photos. But lately, I've been introduced to photoblogging and I saw it to be a great way of expression. My photos are amateur but I hope to learn more as I blog and connect with people.
